- In the sky near Charleston ( USA ), an F-16 fighter and a private jet Cessna 150 collided. The fighter pilot ejected, the two Cesna pilots died [12] .

- Iran and the G6 countries (USA, France, Great Britain, Germany, China and Russia) reached an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of sanctions against Tehran. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the signing of the agreement in Vienna is "a terrific historical mistake." According to him, the agreement allows Iran to continue its aggressive policy in the region [18] .
- The NASA space probe New Horizons flew at a distance of about 12.5 thousand kilometers from the surface of the dwarf planet Pluto at a speed of 14 kilometers per second [19] .
