The offspring of Konstantin Velentei , Cossack of the Nezhinsky Regiment (end of the XVIIІ century) [1] .
Peter Pavlovich Velentey owned the estate inhabited by peasants in a farm near the town of Konotop, which was then passed to his son Peter, and on the death of the latter, his sons Stepan and Ivan Velentiyam. On the basis of what this genus is recognized by Gerold in the nobility with the introduction in the first part of the genealogical book [2] .
Emblem Description
In the red field there are two golden arrows, overturned in the Andreevsky cross and accompanied by the bottom and the right with two golden stars and a golden crescent from the left to the right. The shield is crowned with a noble helmet and a crown.
Crest : Three ostrich feathers.
