Biography
Pupil of the children's team of the factory named after V.P. Nogin (Serpukhov) - 1930-1932. Then he played for the men's team “Red Banner” (Serpukhov) - 1933-1938. Before Moscow, Dynamo played for the Dynamo (Minsk) - 1939-1941, Dynamo-2 (Moscow) - 1942-1943. As part of the Moscow “Dynamo” made his debut in the national championship on May 20, 1945 in a match with the capital “Spartak” (1-1).
One of the best defensive midfielders in Soviet football. One of the most striking and original footballers of the team for all the years of its existence. Soloviev was a specialist in neutralizing the strongest forwards of rivals.
In 1954 he graduated from the school of trainers at the SCOLIFK . He worked as a team coach - 1953 (from September) - 1954 (to June).
Then he worked as a coach of the children and youth teams of the Dynamo club, later - training groups under the team of masters and the specialized children and youth school of the Olympic reserve Dynamo (Moscow).
The teams he trained more than once became champions and prize-winners of the championships of Moscow. Among his pupils are V. Dolbonosov , E. Zhukov, V. Balyasnikov , V. Yankin , who then played in teams of masters.
