Expansion to 18 teams

After an unsuccessful attempt last season, the NBL again decided to award two teams of Pro B " Wild Card " for the season 2014/2015 [1] . Thus, the list of Pro A participants was enlarged by Chalon Reims and Rouen [2] . On June 8, 2014, two teams received official invitations to participate in the elite division of French basketball [3] . The choice of “Rouen” turned out to be controversial, as the team from the Primorskaya Seine department took the 14th place in Pro B [4] [5] .
