Ramil Garafovich Khakimov ( Bashk. Ramil Urf ulu Khimkim ; 1932 - 1999 ) - Bashkir writer and translator, journalist. Member of the Writers' Union (1964). Laureate of the Salavat Yulaev Prize (1976).

Biography
Khakimov Ramil Garafovich was born on June 13, 1932 in the city of Ufa of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. He graduated from school number 11 [1] .
In 1954 he graduated from the Bashkir Pedagogical Institute named after K. A. Timiryazev .
In 1954-1956 He worked as a literary officer in the newspaper Sovetskaya Bashkiria , and in 1956-1960. - Head of the department, deputy editor of the newspaper Leninets .
He died on June 29, 1999, was buried in the Muslim cemetery of Ufa [2] .
Creative activity
Started to be published in 1951. In 1963, his first collection of poems, Heart in the Palm, was published. Then came the poetry collections “Fidelity of Time” (1982), “Voice of the Cosmos and Ears” (1969).
In the book of essays “Here Asia Meets Europe” (1967), “On Seven Roads” (1974) and other Khakimov describes the republic and its inhabitants: oil workers and grain growers, chemists and kumysodelov, metallurgists and foresters. In collections of essays "Ten toasts - and all for Georgia" (1969), "Rainbow of Azerbaijan" (1974) and "Joyful Land" (1975), the main theme of the works is the friendship of peoples.
The writer's works have been translated into English, Georgian, Kazakh, German, Polish and other languages. Ramil Khakimov translated into Russian the story “Batyrgar utuy” (1967; “Island of Heroes”, 1968) by F. A. Isangulov , the novel “Muskulas” (1968; “The Road of Moscow”, 1974) by D. Islamov , works by B. Bikbai , H. Gilyazheva , M. Karim and others.
He is the author of scripts for the television films “Hello, Ufa!” (1962), “Transformed Territory” (1965), “60 Years of Anas Asaev” (1991) and others.
