Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau , the total area of the county is 6,780.627 km 2 , of which 6,715.877 km 2 is land and 64,750 km 2 or 1,000% are water bodies.
Population
According to the 2000 census [1] , there are 95,802 residents in the district, consisting of 38,439 households and 23,140 families . The population density is 14.00 people per km 2 . There are 41,319 residential buildings in the district, with a building density of about 6.00 buildings per km 2 . The racial composition of the population: whites - 94.02%, African Americans - 0.27%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 2.29%, Asians - 1.02%, Hawaiians - 0.08%, representatives of other races - 1.86 %, representatives of two or more races - 0.45%. Hispanic people accounted for 1.61% of the population, regardless of race .
29.20% of the total number of households are children under the age of 18, 47.40% of households are married couples living together, 9.20% of households are single women without a spouse, 39.80% of households households are not related to families , 28.00% of households consist of one person, 7.50% of households consist of elderly people (65 years and older) living alone. The average household size is 2.40 people, and the average family size is 2.96 people.
The age structure of the district: 22.90% younger than 18 years old, 15.40% from 18 to 24, 29.20% from 25 to 44, 22.60% from 45 to 64 and 10.00% from 65 and older.
