Ternovoye is a village in the Michurinsky district of the Tambov Region , part of the rural settlement of the Ostroluchinsky Village Council . The village is located along the banks of the Aleshnia River, below the village of Ostroluchye .

History
Originally called Ternovaya Polyana . It was founded in 1636 - 37 by a group of boyar children, to whom the Kozlovskie governors Ivan Birkin and Mikhail Speshnev allotted estates and land plots. In the scribe book of 1651-1652, it was noted that there was a church in the village [2] .
