Biography
Name and place of birth are unknown.
Around 1825, Zernigar became the wife of Mahmoud II, and a year later gave birth to a daughter, Adila . Zernigar died when her daughter was 6 years old. The upbringing of the girl was taken on by the third [2] wife of Mahmoud, Hadjie Pertevpiyale Neffidan Kadyn Effendi.
Zernigar was buried in the Nakshidil-Sultan turbine [4] .
