Description
This species belongs to the same group as Cheracebus torquatus , Cheracebus purinus , Cheracebus medemi , Cheracebus regulus and Cheracebus lucifer . The limbs, tail, head, flanks and lower body are black, on the sides the coat has a brownish coating, the throat and palms are white. It differs from C. torquatus , C. purinus and C. regulus in black breast and belly, as well as in white palms, differs from C. lucifer in completely black head color and lack of a reddish nape, as well as in the color of palms, from C. medemi differs in white, not black palms. Behavior
Like other jumpers , this species is omnivorous , in the diet leaves, fruits, small animals. It forms small family groups, each group aggressively defends its territory. [one]
Distribution
The range is located between the Rio Branco and Rio Negro rivers in Brazil , reaching north to Orinoco in Venezuela and the upper Japura in Colombia . [2]
