Nevermore - self - titled debut album of progressive - thrash metal band Nevermore . Released in 1995 under the direction of Century Media , it was the first release of vocalist Warrel Dane and bass guitarist Jim Sheppard after leaving their previous band, Sanctuary , in 1994. New drummer Van Williams and former session guitarist Sanctuary Jeff Loomis were taken to the new band. Together, they formed the band Nevermore .

It was the first and only Nevermore album on which original drummer Mark Arrington played. Although he is not listed as a drummer, half of the songs on the album were recorded with him.
The video "What Tomorrow Knows" was shot. In addition, “What Tomorrow Knows” was the only song from the album, which was included in the 2009 Manifesto of Nevermore collection of super hits.
