The Apostolic Vicariate of Caroni ( Latin: Vicariatus Apostolicus Caronensis ) is an apostolic Vicariate of the Roman Catholic Church with its center in the city of Santa Elena de Wairen , Venezuela . The Apostolic Vicariate of Caroni reports directly to the Holy See. The cathedral of the Apostolic Vicariate of Caroni is the church of St. Helena.

Content
History
On March 4, 1922, Pope Pius XI issued the bull Quoties Romani , which was established by the Apostolic Vicariate of Caroni, separating it from the diocese of San Thomas de Guayana (today - the archdiocese of Ciudad Bolivar ).
On July 30, 1954, the Apostolic Vicariate of Caroni transferred part of its territory to the newly-formed Apostolic Vicariate of Tukupita .
