Early years
Since 2011, Diana Garkusha studies at the National Law University named after Yaroslav the Wise and works as a model in Ukraine. Prior to his participation in Miss Ukraine - the Universe and Miss Universe, she won many other competitions, such as: Miss Artek 2008, Ethno-Queen Slobozhanshchina 2011, Miss Kharkov 2012 and Miss International 2013.

Miss Ukraine - Universe 2014
Garkusha won the first place in the national beauty contest Miss Ukraine - Universe 2014 [1] , which took place on June 6, 2014. She represented the city of Kharkov .
Miss Universe 2014
Diana represented Ukraine at the beauty contest Miss Universe 2014 , where she took the third place (for the third time in the history of this competition, the representative of Ukraine entered the top-5 [2] ). She came out in the form of the "Bride of War" in a dark cherry dress with black stripes and a black crown of barbed wire. This image for Diana was created by designer Lyudmila Bushinskaya [3] . A contestant from Ukraine urged the world to support her country during the war [4] .
