Kovalsky, Vladimir Viktorovich

Vladimir Viktorovich Kovalsky ( May 31, 1935 , Odessa , Ukrainian SSR , USSR - December 27, 2010 , Moscow , Russia ) - Russian poet editor and graphic designer. During his life he wrote more than 800 poems, a wreath of sonnets , Russian fairy tales and epics in a modern way. In the 60s and 70s it was published in large print runs and in the central press, then it was hardly published. In 1997, a collection of poems was released. After 2000, several collections of poems were published in the anthologies of poetry by the Writers' Union.

Biography

He was born in Odessa on May 31, 1935, in the family of Viktor Vladislavovich Kovalsky, professor of biochemistry. Before the war he lived in Kiev. He was evacuated to Ufa, and since 1944 he lived in Moscow. From 1954 to 1957 he served in the army. After demobilization, he worked as a publishing editor at the bibliographic publishing house Gos. libraries to them. Lenin and studied at the correspondence department of the Moscow State Institute of Cinematography. From 1965 for 30 years he worked as a graphic designer at the Research Institute of Cardiology. The first poem was written in 1942. First published the poems of Vladimir Viktorovich Kovalsky Bulat Shalvovich Okudzhava , in the Kaluga youth newspaper in 1956. In the 60s and 70s, about a hundred poems were published in large numbers and in the central press. In 1997, a collection of poems was released. In the last years of the life of Vladimir Viktorovich, several selections of his poems were published in the anthologies of poetry of the Writers' Union.

Vladimir Kovalsky passed away on December 27, 2010. He was buried in Moscow at the Vagankovsky cemetery.

Impact

Another friend of Vladimir Viktorovich’s parents was one of the most brilliant poets of the silver age, Georgy Arkadievich Shengeli , whose personality largely influenced the creative path of Vladimir Kovalsky. In the Kovalsky house, friends of parents, scientists, poets, artists often gathered: Leon Abgarovich Orbeli , Vladimir Petrovich Filatov , Georgy Arkadievich and Nina Leontyevna Shengeli, Vsevolod Rozhdestvensky , Nikolai Mikhailovich and Nina Gerasimovna Romadina and many others. They stayed up late, read aloud the verses of their favorite poets, discussed the latest exhibitions in Kuznetsk, and argued about art. These meetings, said Vladimir Viktorovich, had a significant impact on his creative potential.
