History
The street is located in the Molzhaninovsky district, Northern Administrative District (CAO), and goes from Okhtinsky passage to the Molzhaninovsky pond, parallel to the Leningrad highway .
On the street, along its entire length there are no: sidewalks , bicycle paths , pedestrian crossings , bicycle parking , pedestrian navigation steles and partially lighting .
Origin of title
October 29, 1984 in connection with the expansion of the city of Moscow Novosyolkinsky village council was abolished, and its territory was annexed to Moscow in the Leningrad region . In the process of joining the territories of the village to Moscow, Parkovaya Street was formed, which was named in 1985 in honor of the forest park located in the area, and on February 6, 1986 it was renamed Gatchina Street in honor of the city of Gatchina , and due to the presence in the Hero City other park streets.
