The administrative center is the settlement of Novoselsky .

Geography

Located in the northern part of the Ershovsky municipal district , near its administrative border with the Balakovo municipal district .

Borders on Balakovo municipal district (over the length of 15.45 km), Kushumsky municipal formation (over 24.49 km), Maryevsky municipal formation (over 10.29 km), Miussky municipal formation (over 2.44 km) and Chapayevsky municipality (over 29.39 km).
