Gushit (Gushit-Ord) is a village in the Ekhirit-Bulagat district of the Irkutsk region of Russia . It is part of the Korsuk municipality . It is located about 18 km northeast of the district center.

The name, perhaps, comes from the Buryat Gushans , Gushaad , which translates as thirty . This name was given, probably because the settlement is thirty families. Perhaps the founders of the village came from the other side of Baikal and are ethnically related to the Khori-Buryats [4] .
Population
According to the All-Russian Census , in 2010, 146 people lived in the village (66 men and 80 women) [5] .
