The Znamensky Village Council is the abolished administrative-territorial unit that existed on the territory of the Moscow province and the Moscow region until 1927 and in 1958-1977.

For the first time, the Znamensky Village Council was formed in the first years of Soviet power. According to 1919, he was part of the Ashitkov volost of the Bronnitsky district of Moscow province.
In 1923, the Novo-Maryinsky s / s was attached to the Znamensky s / s, but already in 1925 it was allocated back.
In 1927, Znamensky s / s was abolished [1] .
According to 1926, the village council included 1 settlement - the village of Znamenka [2] .
Secondary Znamensky s / s was formed on August 27, 1958 as part of the Voskresensky district of the Moscow region by combining Dvornikovsky and Levychinsky s / s.
On February 1, 1963, the Voskresensky district was abolished and the Znamensky s / s entered the Lyubertsy rural region . January 11, 1965 Znamensky s / s was returned to the restored Voskresensky district.
January 28, 1977 Znamensky Village Council was abolished. At the same time, the villages Dvornikovo , Znamenka and Maryinka were transferred to Ashitkovsky s / s , and Levychino - to the administrative subordination of the working village named after Tsyurupa [3] .
