Career

He began his playing career with the Tbilisi team of sovtorgsluzhby. Since 1930, playing for the local " Builder ". From 1935 to the start of the war, he was a Dynamo player.

He participated in the Great Patriotic War.

In 1944 he returned from the army and became a player in the army club . In its composition, he became twice champion (1944, 1946) and vice-champion of the USSR (1945). In 1948 he was awarded the title Honored Master of Sports of the USSR .

At the end of his playing career, he worked as a coach at the Youth Sports School of Tbilisi. In 1966, he was awarded the title of Honored Trainer of the Georgian SSR .
