Russian Indoor Track and Field Championships 2015

The Russian Indoor Track and Field Championships 2015 took place on February 17-19 in Moscow in the arena of CSKA . Competitions were qualifying for the Russian national team for the European Indoor Championships , held March 6 - 8 in Prague , the capital of the Czech Republic . The championship was attended by 730 athletes from 70 regions of Russia [1] . Over 3 days, 26 sets of medals were played.

The Russian Indoor All-Around Championship 2015 was held separately on February 13-15 in St. Petersburg [2] .

a September 27, 2016 the International Association of Athletics Federations published a list of athletes disqualified due to doping violations. Among them was the Russian runner Ildar Minshin , suspended from the competition for 2 years on the basis of deviations of blood counts in the biological passport . Its results from August 15, 2009 were canceled, including third place in the Russian Championship in the indoor 2015 in the 3000-meter race with a result of 7.57.62 [3] .

b On January 25, 2016, the All-Russian Athletics Federation disqualified Maria Nikolaev for 4 years by an 800 meter runner. Based on the biological passport indicators, it was concluded that the athlete used doping. All of her results since February 18, 2015 were canceled, including second place in the Russian Championship in the indoor 2015 in 800 meters with a result of 2.02.24 [4] .
On January 26, 2017, the International Association of Athletics Federations published a list of athletes disqualified due to doping violations. Among them was the Russian 800-meter runner Anastasia Bazdyreva , who was removed from the competition for 2 years on the basis of deviations of blood counts in the biological passport . Its results from April 23, 2014 were canceled, including first place in the Russian Championship in the indoor 2015 in 800 meters with a result of 2.02.13 [5] .
On April 7, 2017, the Sports Arbitration Court announced the disqualification of the Russian runner Ekaterina Poistogova for two years. Based on the data of the biological passport, it was concluded that the athlete used doping. All of her results from October 21, 2014 were canceled, including third place in the Russian Championship in the indoor 2015 in 800 meters with a result of 2.02.33 [6] .
On February 1, 2019, it became known that the Sports Arbitration Court, on the basis of McLaren’s report and testimony of Grigory Rodchenkov, found 12 Russian athletes guilty of violating anti-doping rules. Among them was a high jumper Svetlana Shkolina . All its results from July 16, 2012 to July 28, 2015 were canceled, including second place at the Russian Winter Championship - 2015 with a score of 1.90 m [7] .

Russian All-Around Championship

The country's champions in the men's heptathlon and women's pentathlon were determined February 13-15, 2015 in St. Petersburg in the new athletics arena on Krestovsky Island [8] [9] . Artyom Lukyanenko and Alexander Butvin became the champions of Russia indoors for the third time.

The composition of the Russian national team to participate in the European Championship

According to the results of the championship and taking into account the fulfillment of the required standards, 44 athletes were included in the national team for participation in the European Championships in Prague [10] :

Men

4x400 m relay: Yegor Kibakin - did not go to the championship because of problems with a passport [11] , Alexey Koenig , Pavel Savin , Nikita Vesnin , Yaroslav Kholopov , Lev Mosin .
800 m: Stepan Poistogov .
1500 m: Valentin Smirnov .
3000 m: Egor Nikolaev , Alexey Popov .
60 m with barriers: Konstantin Shabanov .
High jump: Alexander Shustov , Alexey Dmitrik , Daniil Tsyplakov .
Pole vault: Alexander Gripich , Anton Ivakin .
Long jump: Vasily Kopeikin - did not perform at the tournament due to a mistake in the application [12] , Pavel Shalin .
