Eastern sweets - confectionery , common in the countries of the Middle East . There are about 170 types of oriental sweets [1] .
There are three groups of eastern sweets [2] :
- Flouries : baklava , kyata , mutyak [2] , kurab'e, shaker-lokum, shaker-churek, shaker-puri, kichela, etc. [3] . Flour products are high in fat and spices [1] .
- Soft candies : halva [2] , nougat , Lukum sbivna, Turkish Delight, kos-halva, oil, aly, alans, daimo-oil, sorbet , chuche-hela , creamy log, creamy sausage, oriental sweets on a fruit basis [4 ] .
- Caramel : kozinaki , roasted [2] , parvarda .
In addition to the usual components ( sugar , molasses , flour , fat ), oriental sweets contain various other additives and spices (starch, poppy seeds, nuts, etc.) [1] .
