She graduated from the Paris Conservatory (1938), a student of Marguerite Long . In 1939, she won third place at the Gabriel Foret Piano Competition in Luxembourg . In 1942, she made her debut with the Orchestra of the Concert Society of the Paris Conservatory , performing a concert by Franz Liszt , and then for many years became the favorite soloist of the conductor Charles Munch , with whom she performed in more than 200 concerts in total [4] . Together with Munch, she performed a lot in the USA. Has gained recognition for its interpretation of the works of Sergei Prokofiev and French composers. In 1953 she became the first performer of the Darius Millau Concert Suite. In 1958, she married Vice Admiral Jean-Jacques Schweitzer (1920-1993). The following year they had a son, Jean-Philippe Schweitzer. Since 1970, she taught in Brussels and Liege .
