The Palace of Peace and Accord is a pyramid-shaped building created by the architect Sir Norman Foster in Nur Sultan , the capital of Kazakhstan, specifically for the "Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions."

The pyramid is the center of religious studies and religious tolerance. It contains an opera hall with 1302 seats.
The construction of the pyramid was completed in 2006 , the concert hall was opened by Montserrat Caballe .
The Palace of Peace and Accord is one of the attractions of Nur Sultan. It is believed that the idea of creating a “Palace of Peace and Concord” belongs to the first president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, N. A. Nazarbayev , and he presented it at the first “Congress of World and Traditional-National Religions,” which was held on September 23-24, 2003 in Astana. In 2006, the “Palace of Peace and Concord” received delegates and participants of the second congress.
The author of the Palace of Peace and Concord project is the famous British architect Norman Robert Foster . The building of the Pyramid was built by the Turkish construction company Sembol Inshaat.
The area of the Pyramid is 28 thousand square meters, the “Palace of Peace and Accord” is a conference halls and exhibition areas equipped with modern equipment, art galleries, presentation complexes and much more.
The capacity of the opera hall is 1302 spectators, 20 make-up rooms work. The interior of the hall is in burgundy-gold tones, with a sun-window at the top. The stage with an orchestra pit for 80 people and a depth of 2.8 meters is designed for performances of various levels.
The Cheops Atrium Hall, covering an area of over 2 thousand square meters. and consisting of 4 adjoining galleries, it is ready to accommodate over 1000 guests at a time. The gallery of the hall presents the "General Plan for the Development of Astana until 2030. "
On the top floor is the Cradle Hall with a glass dome, which shows 130 pigeons symbolizing the various peoples of the Republic of Kazakhstan. [one]
Guests of the capital are introduced to the works of art by the K центрlanshy Center for Contemporary Art and the Shezhire Gallery. They host exhibitions and creative evenings of artists of Kazakhstan, countries of near and far abroad.
