He studied at the Budapest Academy of Music under Arpad Sandy , then in Berlin with Ferruccio Busoni . He toured in Germany, Estonia and Finland. Since 1902 he taught in Kolozhvar , then in 1906-1936. at the Budapest Academy of Music, where among his students was, in particular, György Farago . The author of didactic works ("Exercises in trills", etc.).
