North Virginia Army at Appomattox

On April 9, 1865, after the Battle of Appomattox and during the surrender, General Robert Lee's North Virginia Army numbered 28,231 people. It consisted of four buildings, of which the first and third were consolidated into one. (The number of soldiers and officers of the regiment is indicated in brackets, as they were recorded during the surrender)
