Andrei Gennadyevich Kirdyachkin (born April 5, 1990 , Novosibirsk , USSR ) is a Russian professional basketball player playing as a heavy forward . He stands for the Temp-SUMZ-UMMC basketball club.

Career

Born and raised in Novosibirsk . The first coach is Valentina Ivanovna Kukharenko. For three years he was a player in the Novosibirsk club Sibirtelecom-Lokomotiv . Before the start of the 2010/2011 season, he was injured - a broken leg. I recovered only at the very start of the championship. During the season, the Novosibirsk club was in a difficult financial situation, therefore, in January 2011, Andrei agreed to move to Nizhny Novgorod [1] . After spending the rest of the season in the Nizhny Novgorod team, the season 2011/2012 Kirdyachkin began on a lease at BC Ryazan .

Before the start of the 2013/2014 season , Nizhny Novgorod returned the player after a two-year lease. But in October 2013, the player and the club terminated the contract [2] .

Since November 2013, he played for Samara-SSEU . In the season 2014/2015 he was the captain of the team. April 14, 2015, became the first player in the history of the Samara club, who scored 1000 points in the team [3] . In just two seasons, Kirdyachkin’s score of 1065 points for Samara-SSEU is the best result in the team’s recent history.

In June 2015, he again became a player in Nizhny Novgorod by signing a two-year contract [4] . In the 2016/2017 season, VTB scored 1.3 points in 2.5 minutes in 4 matches of the United League . In January 2017, Kirdyachkin and the Nizhny Novgorod club mutually agreed on an early termination of the contract [5] .

In the same month, Kirdyachkin moved to Spartak-Primorye [6] , in which he became the bronze medalist of Super League-1 .

In June 2017, he signed a contract with Novosibirsk. [7] In the 2017/2018 season, he became the bronze medalist of the Russian Cup .

In June 2018, he extended the contract with the Novosibirsk club for another 1 year [8] .

Personal life

November 21, 2015, Andrei married Victoria Vorogushina. When the newlyweds went to the registry office from home, at that moment the elevator broke. In the elevator, parents and witnesses descended from the 14th floor, holding passports and rings. As a result, the newlyweds were late for registration, which was scheduled for 15:00. They managed to agree on a postponement of registration time.
