Avi Worzman (full name Abraham ; Hebrew אבי וורצמן ; born October 29, 1970 , Be'er Sheva , Israel ) is an Israeli politician and member of the 19th Knesset from the Jewish House party.

Biography
Abraham Worzman was born in Be'er Sheva , Israel . He studied at the yeshiva Bnei Akiva , as well as at yeshiva Merkaz ha-rav , and received the title of rabbi . He received a teacher certificate at Hemdat H-Dorom College, as well as a master’s degree in humanities in public policy and management from Ben Gurion University [2] . He served in the Givati brigade of the Israel Defense Forces , has the rank of sergeant [2] .
In 2008, Wortsman put forward his candidacy for the post of leader of the Jewish House party, but lost the election to Professor Daniel Gershkovich [3] .
In 2012, at the request of Naftali Bennett, Wortsman agreed to run for the Knesset from the Jewish House party [4] . He took eighth place in the party’s election list [5] . He was elected to the Knesset of the 19th convocation , where he entered the Knesset Commission [2] .
In the thirty-third government of Israel, Avi Worzman received the post of Deputy Minister of Education Shay Piron [6] .
Abraham Worzman is married, has four children, lives in Be'er Sheva . He speaks Hebrew and English [2] .
