Fritillaria yuzhongensis (lat.) - a species of monocotyledonous plants of the genus Ryadchik ( Fritillaria ) of the family Liliaceae ( Liliaceae ). It was first described by the botanists Yu Godean and Zhou Yinsou in 1985 [2] [3] .

Distribution and habitat
An endemic of the People’s Republic of China , found in the northern part of the country [4] in the provinces of Gansu , Henan , Shaanxi , Shanxi and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region [5] .
Botanical Description
Bulbous geophyte [4] . The bulb is ovoid. Stem 20-50 cm tall [5] .
Narrow-lanceolate leaves, 3-8 × 0.2-0.6 cm in size, usually curved [5] .
Inflorescence with 1-2 flowers drooping bell-shaped; petals are yellowish-green in color with pale violet spots [5] .
Fruit - a box with appendages in the form of wings. Fruits in June [5] .
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 24 [5] .
Value
Bulbs are used in medicine [5] .
