The station was built under the name "Potok Zolotoy" (Polish Potok Złoty ) on the Kielce - Russkie- Gerba line leading to the German border with the width of the Russian gauge in 1911 , when this territory was part of the Kingdom of Poland . During the First World War, the Germans of this line switched to 1435 mm and as a result, it became part of the Kielce - Fosovsk line . The station has been named since 1958 .
