Biography
Bragin Mikhail Ivanovich was born on November 11, 1929 in the village of Usyaty, Kemerovo region. From 1943 to 1950 he worked at the machine plant them. I. Blacksmith . Work at the Taybinskaya mine began after serving in the army (1954). The cleaning team, which he headed for almost forty years, three times set all-Union and world records. The latter - in August 1978, unsurpassed so far - in 31 working days, 81,210 tons of coal were mined. In 1973, the team of M. Bragin became the initiator of the socialist competition under the motto "For the daily rhythmic work of coal mining" and gives out above the plan 20 thousand tons of coal.
Rewards and memory
In 1973, M. I. Bragin was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor. Bragin Mikhail Ivanovich was awarded: two orders of Lenin, the medal "Golden Star", the gold medal "For Valiant Labor", the Order of "Labor Glory" I, II, III degrees. Mikhail Ivanovich was awarded the titles: “Winner of the regional socialist competition”, “Winner in the All-Union Socialist competition among the workers of the coal industry of the USSR”. For many years of work, Bragin M.I. is listed in the book of Honor of the city. The name of M. I. Bragin was assigned to Kiselyov’s school No. 23, a challenge cup was established at the mine, and a museum dedicated to the Hero was opened at the Lyceum No. 1.
He died in 1990.
