Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau , the county’s total area is 7,211,000 km 2 , of which 7,190,000 km 2 is land and 21,000 km 2 or 0.290% are water bodies.
Population
According to the 2000 census [1] , the district has 88,565 residents comprising 34,641 households and 23,278 families . The population density is 12.00 people per km 2 . On the territory of the okrug, there are 37,249 residential buildings, with a building density of about 5.00 buildings per km 2 . Racial composition of the population: white - 86.70%, African - Americans - 0.85%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 8.09%, Asians - 0.88%, Hawaiians - 0.06%, representatives of other races - 0.68 %, representatives of two or more races - 2.74%. Hispanics accounted for 2.64% of the population, regardless of race .
Out of the total number of households , 33.50% are children under the age of 18, 51.30% of households are married couples living together, 11.70% of households are single women without a spouse, 32.80% of households households are not related to families , 26.10% of households consist of one person, 8.40% of households consist of elderly people (65 years and older) living alone. The average household size is 2.49 people and the average family size is 3.00 people.
The age structure of the district: 26.60% under the age of 18, 10.50% from 18 to 24, 29.20% from 25 to 44, 21.90% from 45 to 64 and 21.90% from 65 and older. The average age of a resident of the district is 35 years. For every 100 females there are 98.30 males . For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 95.70 males .
