History
The album received positive reviews from music critics and online publications, for example, American Songwriter [3] , Country Weekly [4] , Allmusic [2] , Los Angeles Times [6] , Roughstock [8] . Jody Rosen of New York Magazine named the album her favorite album of 2013 (12 Stories Is My Favorite Album of 2013) [10] .
The album debuted at No. 197 on the Billboard 200 chart and at No. 28 on the Country List Top Country Albums with a print run of 2,000 copies in its first week [11] . Then the disc re-entered the Billboard 200 at a higher position (No. 163) a week starting on December 7, 2013, as well as on the Top Country Album country chart (this time at No. 23). As of December 2014, the total circulation of the album in the United States amounted to 37,000 copies [12] .
