Ulongin ( Chinese: р , Pinyin : Luòníng ) is a county in the Luoyang Urban District of Henan Province ( PRC ).

History
Under the Northern Wei empire, the districts of Xiaoxian (崤 县) and Nanshenchi (南 渑池县) were formed in 487, and in Nanshan (南 陕县) and Kinmen (金门 县) in 513. Under the Western Wei empire, Beiyiyang (北宜 阳县) county was created in 537, in 552 Nanshan County was renamed Changyuan (长 渊 县), and in 553 Beiyang County was renamed Xünier (熊 耳 县). Under the Late Zhou Empire, Nanshenchi County was renamed Changlo (昌 洛 县). Under the Sui Empire, Changlo County was renamed Loshui (洛水 县), and in 605, Xiaoxian and Loshui Counties were annexed to Xünier County. Under the Tang Empire, in 618, Xüner County was renamed Yunning (永宁 县), and Changyuan County was renamed Changshui (长 水 县). Under the Yuan Empire, in 1266, Changshui County was annexed to Yunning County.
After the founding of the Republic of China , Yunning County was renamed Longin in 1913. In 1947, during the Civil War, they came under the control of the Communists, and the communist authorities divided the county into Longan (洛南 县) and Lobei (洛 北 县) counties. In 1948, they were reunited in Longin County, which became part of the Shanzhou Special District (陕州 专区). In 1952, the Shanzhou Special District was annexed to the Luoyang (洛阳 专区) Special Region. In 1969, Luoyang Special District was renamed Luoyang ((地区) District. In 1986, Luoyang County was disbanded, and the county became part of the Luoyang City District.
