Career
He played in a number of Dinamo Tbilisi , in which three times (1950, 1953, 1954) became the champion of the USSR, three times (1959, 1960, 1961) - vice-champion, two-time (1948, 1952) bronze medalist of the national championship, two-time (1949, 1951) USSR Cup Winner. In 1962, he won the European Champions Cup.
As a member of the national team of the Georgian SSR, he won the silver medal of the II Games of the Peoples of the USSR.
Education
He graduated from Tbilisi State University .
Coaching career
After finishing his playing career, he worked with Dynamo ( Tbilisi ). The team over the years became the champion of the USSR (1968) and won the USSR Cup (1969). For the achievements of their students L.G. Irtskirveli was awarded the title of Honored Coach of the USSR .
From 1970 until retirement - senior coach Junior Dynamo Youth (Tbiisi).
