Ludwig Zimsen (September 29, 1823, Greifswald - January 3, 1895, Friedenau) - German writer, journalist, teacher and editor, author of a large number of articles on women's fashion.

Biography
Ludwig Zimsen was born in the family of a counselor of justice. He graduated from the gymnasium in Greifswald, then entered to study philology and history at a local university . His father died in 1842, so Tsimsen was already forced to earn a living while studying. In the fall of 1846, he became a teacher at a female gymnasium in Berlin, then for several years he was a home teacher in Neu-Placht and Banka. In 1850, he completed courses in state expertise and, after successfully completing them, became an intern at the gymnasium in Greifswald, and then became a teacher at the gymnasium in Stargard, and in 1872–1882 he was a senior teacher in the gymnasium of Princess Hedvigi in Pomerania. In 1882, he voluntarily resigned and moved to Berlin, where he collaborated in the publications of Freien Stunden , the Die Tribüne newspaper, wrote articles and edited the women's magazine Der Bazar . He was a member of the Association of Berlin Journalists and the Treasurer of the German Schiller Foundation.

König "(1888);" Schön Elslin "(1890).
