Yao Beina ( Chinese ex. 姚贝娜 , pinyin : Yáo Bèinà ; September 26, 1981 - January 16, 2015 ) is a Chinese singer.

Biography
Born in a family of vocal teachers. In 2004, she graduated from . In 2005 she entered the , where she worked until 2009. Explaining the reasons for her departure, Yao Beyna noted that she simply could not sing songs that were uninteresting to her: “I realized that it was not me who was singing the songs, but the songs were sung by me” [1] .
In parallel with her work in the ensemble, Yao Beina actively participated in recording soundtracks for television films and series, in particular, the Chinese version of the song “ Let It Go ” for the animated film “ Frozen ” [2] . The singer twice won the (silver award in 2006 and gold in 2008 [2] ). In 2012, she recorded the song “红颜 劫” for the series “ ” [2] . In the same year she recorded the song “画 情” for the film “Colorized Skin 2: Revival” and released her first and only album.
In 2013, Yao Beina appeared at the “ ” contest, but was unable to qualify for the finals. In the same year, the singer released the minion "1/2 的 我".
In 2011, the singer was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a mastectomy, the disease was stopped, in 2013 the singer appeared naked on the cover of the magazine in the framework of the campaign conducted by the 时尚 健康 magazine aimed at popularizing knowledge on the prevention of breast cancer among young women [3] . In 2014, a relapse of cancer occurred. Yao Beina died on January 16, 2015, at the age of 33. Before her death, she bequeathed her cornea for transplantation [4] .
