Description
As planned by the architects, the image of the building located on the seashore was supposed to be in harmony with the environment, as a result, the image of a seashell formed the basis of the project. The skyscraper consists of two parts curved outward. At the same time, not a single curved glass element was used to create a bulge effect. The convex surface is achieved by combining the j-shaped sections in a certain way. To find points of contact with the earth, the principle of the golden section was used , which gives high stability to the structure [2] .
During the construction, there were such difficulties as the effect of groundwater (a skyscraper was erected on an artificial land area), as well as high wind loads due to the large surface area of the building.
Particular attention was paid to the use of environmentally friendly and energy-saving technologies. During the construction, materials from recycled materials were used, and energy is saved due to the efficient use of natural light. According to energy efficiency standards, LEED is awarded with a silver certificate. The building is equipped with innovations such as an artificial water supply system and an underground vacuum system for automatic garbage collection.
In construction, the technology of diagonal mesh was applied [4] . In the center of the building there are two concrete supports, in the external frame only steel structures are used.
