Biography
In 1915 he graduated from the Theological School on the island of Halki . Appointed as the principal of the school in Chrysoupolis [2] .
In 1917 he was ordained a deacon and a priest and was appointed a parish priest in the community of Principio [2] .
In 1923 he was appointed the great protosynkel [2] .
On January 22, 1925, by the decision of the Holy Synod, he was elected the titular bishop of Irinopolis [2] .
January 30, 1925 in the Vvedensky temple in Stavrodromia (Istanbul) was ordained a titular bishop of Irynopolis. The consecration was performed: Metropolitan of Neocaesarea , Metropolitan of Mytilene Jacob (Cleomvrotou) and Metropolitan of Anaia Thomas (Savvopoulos) [2] .
Later, he was appointed bishop chief of the Stavrodromi district of the Archdiocese of Constantinople (one of the five districts of the Archdiocese of Constantinople) [2] . He owned a valuable collection of Byzantine books [1] .
On December 17, 1927, he was elevated to the rank of Metropolitan with leaving at the same titular pulpit [2] .
He died on May 5, 1961 in Konstantinpol [1] .
