Shirzad Eyyub oglu Abdullayev ( azerb. Şirzad Əyyub oğlu Abdullayev ; October 16, 1970 , Agdash region ) - Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Economics, Professor. Biography
Shirzad Abdullaev was born on October 16, 1970 in the Agdash region of the Azerbaijan SSR . Received secondary education in the Agdash region. He served in the air defense forces.
He graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a degree in economics and Baku State University with a degree in law.
In 1999, having defended a thesis on the topic “Problems of the formation and use of credit resources in the Azerbaijan Republic” [1] at the University of Finance and Economics ( St. Petersburg ) with a degree in financial and monetary circulation and credit, he received a Ph.D. in economics. In 2003, having defended a thesis on the topic "Management of Bank Resources in Azerbaijan" in the specialized council of the University of Finance and Economics (St. Petersburg) with a degree in financial and monetary circulation and credit, he received a doctorate in economics. In 2005, he received additional education at the Berlin School of Economics and at the Institute of Applied Sciences of the Federal Republic of Germany. Both diplomas in 2004 and 2006, respectively, were recognized by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2012, he received the title of professor with a degree in financial and monetary circulation and credit.
In 2001-2002 he worked as a senior lecturer, in 2002-2007 as an assistant professor, in 2007-2013 as a professor at the Department of Banking and Money Circulation of the Azerbaijan State Economic University. Since 2013, he has been working part-time as a professor.
In 1992-2003 - Chairman of the Board of Azinvestbank, in 2003-2008 - Head of the Department of Legal Support for Banking Control at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan . In 2008—2018 - Executive Director of the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. By order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 31, 2018 No. 163 he was appointed deputy minister of economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Rewards
He was awarded the medal " For Distinction in Public Service " and the medal " Tyaraggi " according to the decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed on November 12, 2012 and October 21, 2014, respectively [2] .
