Biography

Young years

Simon John Farouter was born on October 9, 1969 in Adelaide . His parents were active archers, like Sister , who became an athlete [1] . Simon himself learned how to shoot from the bow at his uncle's farm in [2]

Career

In 1984, at the age of 14, he joined the organization “Archers of Stratolbin and the District” [3] , after his parents gave him a bow [4] . He wanted to go out hunting with a , but he soon became interested in sports and took a . Four years later, at the age of 18, he won the competition in the visitors section at the 1988 US National Championship [3] . In 1990, Simon Fairueter won the silver medal in the individual championship at the World Championships in ( Norway ), and in 1991 he won the gold medal in the team championship in Krakow ( Poland ) [5] . In the same year, he won the Award [2] .

He participated in the World Field Archery Championships in 1990 , 1992 and 1994 (in the second - he won a silver medal); The World Indoor Archery Championships of 1993 and 1999 , winning the last gold medal [3] .
