Geography
The village of Novoostropol is located on the Buzulka River (the left tributary of the Bolshaya Pera River ).
The village of Novoostropol is located north of the regional center of the city of Svobodny , near the village passes the federal highway Chita - Khabarovsk .
The administrative center of the Nizhnebuzulinsky village council is the village of Nizhny Buzuli located 8 km to the south-west.
The distance to the district center of Svobodny (via Nizhny Buzuli , Yukhta and Dmitriyevka ) is 38 km.
