History

The club was founded before the start of the 2011 season and is composed of players who left the leading team of the city - Istaravshan FC . In its debut season, Daleron played in the Sogdian zone of the First League, where they took sixth place. In 2012, the club won a landslide victory in the same tournament, but refused to go to the Premier League due to the decision of the regional authorities [1] .

In 2013, Daleron-Uroteppa became the second in the First League zonal tournament, skipping ahead of the Khujand Eskhata, and in the final tournament took third place and did not receive the right to upgrade in the class.

However, at the same time, due to financial problems, FC Istaravshan ceased to exist, being the last in the Major League 2013. And Daleron-Urotepp was given his place in the league. At the same time, in the offseason 2013/14, a possible combination of Daleron and Istaravshan was discussed [2] , but it never happened, and Daleron remained an independent club.

Before starting in the Major League, he strengthened his squad not only with the players of the disintegrated Istaravshan, but also with other players, including the level of the national team of Tajikistan. Defender Alexey Negmatov , brothers Dalerdzhon and Davronjon Tukhtasunovs , veteran striker Numonjon Khakimov , legionnaires Farhod Yuldashev and Solomon Teji joined the team.

In the debut match on April 12, 2014, Daleron-Uroteppa was hosted by the metropolitan Energetik (draw 1: 1). After the first round, the club was only in seventh place, but under the leadership of the new coach Mahmadzhon Khabibulloev very much spent the second round - from 9 matches he won 6 and 3 in a draw, and as a result won the bronze medals of the championship.

In 2015, Daleron-Uroteppa performed unsuccessfully, taking ninth place among 10 teams. And before the start of the 2016 season, he refused to participate in the Major League [3] .

Fan Support

Fans of Daleron-Uroteppa were considered the most creative and most supportive of their club in Tajikistan. In the 2014 season, the stadium of the Istaravshan-Arena team was the most visited in Tajikistan. And in the “Sogdian Derby” with “Khujand” an absolute record was recorded - about 14,000 people visited the match.

Sogdian Derby

The most ardent rivals of Daleron-Urotepp fans are Khujand club. One of the reasons for this confrontation is the geographical proximity of cities. The first derby took place when Daleron-Urotepp played in the First League. The match ended with a score of 2: 2.

In the Premier League, the teams met in Khujand, and in this match the forces were also equal - 0: 0. But on November 1, at Istaravshan Arena, the hosts won 1-0. The only goal against “Khujand” was scored by Numonjon Khakimov.
