Career

Bacau

He made his debut for Bacau on June 21, 1981 in the last round of the 1980/81 season against Arges (2: 5). For three seasons he played only 19 matches (3 goals).

Dynamo Bucharest

He spent his best years in Dynamo Bucharest , where he became a key midfield player and team captain. Possessed a powerful blow, the fans of the capital's club chanted: “Movilă, Movilă / Dă-le o torpilă!” (Literally: “Movile, Movile / Launch them a torpedo!”) [1] .

The main success of Dynamo on the international stage was reaching the semi-finals of the 1983/84 Champions Cup , on the way to which Minsk team-mates were covered. The first match against the future winner of the Liverpool tournament (0: 1) was overshadowed by an unpleasant incident, Graham Sunness broke Movilay’s jaw [2] , because of which he was forced to leave the field. In the return match, held without Movillet, the British were also stronger (2: 1).

Zimbru Chisinau

In 1991, he joined the Chisinau Zimbru , playing in the first league of the USSR . Movilé and his teammate Claudiu Vaishkovich became the only Romanian legionnaires in the history of Soviet football.

He completed his career in 1992 in Israel.

Romania Matches

The first match for the national team was held on June 1, 1983 against Yugoslavia (0: 1). In total, he played 14 matches (1 goal), while 13 of them were friendly.
