Biography
Born on January 27, 1979 in the village of Prazhila, Floresti district, Republic of Moldova. Baptized in infancy.
In 1986-1992 he studied at the school of his native village, then continued his studies in the city of Floresti, where he studied at the Lyceum Grammar School named after Jonah Creanga until 1994.
In 1994-1996 he studied at the Chisinau Theological Seminary , in 2000 he graduated from the Chisinau Theological Academy .
On March 5, 2006, in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in Chisinau, Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova, Vladimir (Kantaryan) was ordained celibate to the deacon , and on May 22 - the presbyter .
In 2007 he defended his master's work at the Faculty of History of the Moldavian State University , receiving a master's degree in historical sciences.
From May 8, 2007 to May 23, 2008 - and. about. rector of the Arkhangelsk church in the village of Kotyuzheniy Mary of the Sholdanesh district and the dean of the Sholdanesh district.
On November 2, 2007, he was appointed a member of the diocesan commission on censorship and book publishing.

He represented the Unghenan Diocese at the Local Council of the Russian Orthodox Church on January 27-29, 2009.

In 2012, he was appointed Secretary of the Synodal Commission for the Canonization of Saints of the Orthodox Church of Moldova.
In April 2014, he was relieved of his post as rector of the Assumption Gerbovets Monastery and appointed rector of the Assumption Tsypovsky Monastery of the Chisinau Diocese.

On December 25, 2014, by the decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, he was elected bishop of Soroca, vicar of the Chisinau diocese [3] .

The consecration was performed by the Patriarch of Moscow Cyril , Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova Vladimir (Kantaryan) , Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk (Alfeyev) , Metropolitan of Istra Arseny (Epifanov) , Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary, Archbishop Bishop of Serbia (Volkov) , and Komratsky Anatoly (Botnar) , Bishop of Solnechnogorsk Sergius (Chashin) , Bishop of Edinets and Brichesky Nicodemus (Wolpe) , Bishop of Neftekamsk and Birsky Ambrose (Munteanu) [5] .
On February 1, 2017, by the decision of the Holy Synod, he was included in the composition of the then Organizing Committee for the implementation of the program of church-wide events for the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the era of persecution of the Russian Orthodox Church [6] .
