Abdulrahman Abdu began his career as a football referee in the early 2000s. Since 2005, he has been an arbiter of FIFA and, in addition to the domestic championship of Qatar, also judges international matches. Of the international tournaments, Abdulrahman Abdu served the matches of the AFC Champions League , AFC Cup qualifying tournaments for the Asian Cup and the World Cup . In 2007 and 2011, he judged the matches of the final stage of the Asian Cup. In 2015, he also entered the list of judges of the Asian Cup 2015 .
