Biography
In the years 1819-1824. toured as an instrumentalist in various European countries; Mühlenfeldt’s concerts in Paris in April 1819 were enthusiastically echoed in The General Musical Newspaper by G. L. P. Sievers [1] . Then settled in Rotterdam . In 1829, together with Simon Ganz and Bartolomeus Tours, he founded the so-called Concerts on Mondays ( Dutch: Maandagsche Concert ), a series of musical events that competed with the Concerts on Tuesdays of Wouter Hütsenreiter Sr. In the years 1830-1840. led the orchestra Eruditio Musica . Later he lived and worked in London. The author of numerous chamber compositions.
In 1835 he was elected a corresponding member of the Royal Institute [2] .
