Alenka Dovzhan ( Slovenian. Alenka Dovžan , born February 11, 1976 , Piran ) is a Slovenian skier , Olympic medalist, winner of the World Cup. Wagon, successfully performed in all disciplines of skiing.

In the World Cup, Dovjan made her debut on November 28, 1993 , and a month and a half later she won her only career victory at the World Cup stage, in the super giant. In addition, it has 12 hits in the top ten at the stages of the World Cup. The best achievement in the overall World Cup standings is for Dovjan 13th place in the 1993/94 season.

At the 1994 Olympics in Lillehammer, she won a bronze medal in combination. In addition, she took part in all other disciplines of the skiing program of the Olympics, was 16th in downhill, and in the supergiant, giant slalom and slalom, she left the race.

At the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, she took 16th place in slalom and 17th place in giant slalom.

At the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, she was 17th in slalom and retired in her first attempt at giant slalom.

During her career she participated in four world championships , the best result is 12th place in slalom at the 1999 world championships .
