Fictional Character Biography

Sunset Bane got its start by seducing student MIT student Tony Stark into revealing security codes for Stark Industries . Soon after, an armed detachment of masked people invaded and stole several prototypes. Throughout the year, Baintronics Inc. "Was founded and Sunset broke up with Stark. While Baintronics Inc. maintained an impeccable reputation, Sunset took over Madame Threats and sold high-tech weapons to criminals using the "Terribly Profitable Secret Seasonal Weapons Catalog" Rogue Villain. " [2]

When the Machine Man lost his hand during the battle against Baron Brimstone and Satan's squad, Madame Threat bought it at a low price, threatening the seller with "one of her carnivorous cockroaches." [3] Her plans for the reverse engineering of the limb were interrupted when the Human Machine came to demand it. Despite her electromagnets and sonic destructive cannon, the Human Machine won, and Sunset blew up her yacht to escape. [4] A random encounter with Alpha Squad members Aurora , North Star and Yeti ultimately convinced her to set the machinations aside for the Human Machine temporarily. Madame Threat then made several minor appearances, supplying the weapons of the villain of the Phantom Racer , Orb [5] and then Doctor Octopus .

Sunset then showed up at a meeting with Tony Stark, which was interrupted when the damaged Machine Man appeared with Jocasta's head, losing the battle to Terminus. Stark turned into Iron Man and brought damaged androids to Baintronics Inc., where, under the guise of an assistant, Sunset created copies of robots. [6] When the restored Machine Man left, Sunset was able to give him a fake Jocasta. The real Jocasta and fake Human Machine C from Baintronics Inc., laying the foundation for the 2020 Human Machine miniseries.

After that, Sunset, as Madame Threat, teamed up with the New Engines in their plot to take over the fallen criminal kingpin cartel. Allegedly, Bane did this to study the technology of New Engines, including Dragon Man, Dreadnought and Super Adaptoid. [7]

Having failed to decipher Jocasta's labyrinths, Sunset decided to hire Tony Stark to explore. Since Stark was already hired, Sunset hired a War Machine to destroy his current employer. After Iron Man defeated Fin Fan Fum , Baintronics Inc. took on a contract to transport a large number of animals. Using this, Sunset asked Tony to work for her again. Increasing suspicion, Stark agreed to find out more. Stark then freed Jocasta and convinced the new War Machine to stop working for Sunset Bane. [8]

Later, Sunset hired Taskmaster to sabotage the work of the Stark Enterprises. Instead of paying him, she turned him over to the police. In retaliation, Taskmaster instigated a war between the Triad and Baintronics Inc. He was even able to shoot Sunset at the shoulder. Since the end of the mini-series, hostilities between the two have been resolved, but aside from their enmity, the status quo has been largely restored. [9]

She was shot several times by the Punisher [10] , but has since reappeared as an adversary of the Human Machine. [eleven]

Strengths and Abilities

Sunset is an inventor of a genius level; she controls the resources of Baintronics Inc. and other small companies, as well as a small army of uniformed criminal mercenaries. She rarely uses her inventions for herself, preferring to sell them.

During a robot error, Human Machine was released and resisted Baintronics Inc. Human Machine was able to defeat Iron Man 2020 along with other Sunset guards. Despite her age, Sunset in her prime, she was still lively enough to attack the Human Machine alone with a vital power cable. The Human Machine even overcame this and received a promise from Bane to leave him and be friends.
