In 2009, when she had just recently begun her career, CNN journalist claimed that she was now the most popular singer among the gyaru in Sibuya , and perceived the appearance of the young singer on the label as the transition of Sony, which previously lost the chance to lose the young Sibuyan audience to her Avex rival, from music for 50 year olds to something more modern [1] .
