Garbuzov, Andrei Mikhailovich

Andrei Mikhailovich Garbuzov (born August 7, 1983 in Krasnoyarsk ) is a Russian rugby player, a flanker of the Krasny Yar team and the Russian national team. Master of Sports of Russia of international class, participant of the Olympic Torch Relay at the Olympic Games in Sochi [1] .

Career

Club

A pupil of Krasnoyarsk rugby, he started playing rugby at school. Since 2000 he has been playing for the Red Yar team, its captain and leading player. Champion of Russia (2000, 2001, 2013), winner of the Russian Cup (2003, 2006, 2011, 2013). Participant of the “Stars” match of the Russian 2013 Super League.

In the national team

In the Russian team made his debut on February 26, 2005 in Timisoara against Romania . Spent 65 games, scored 30 points. The 50th game was played on November 15, 2013 against Japan [3] . Participated in the 2011 World Cup.
