Crater Description
The immediate neighbors of the crater are Herschel K. Crater in the west; Helikon crater in the north; Leverrier Crater in the north-north-east; Landsteiner Crater in the east-southeast; McDonald Crater in the southeast; Cavantou Crater in the southwest and Hayes Crater in the west-southwest. To the west of Karlini Crater is the Khaimah Ridge ; in the northwest of Cape Heraclides ; in the south is the ridge of Cirkel and the peak of La Gira [1] . Selenographic coordinates of the center of the crater , diameter 10.7 km [2] , depth 2.2 km [3] .
The crater has a circular bowl shape with a small area of a flat bottom. The shaft height above the surrounding area reaches 370 m [4] , the volume of the crater is about 40 km 3 [4] . The crater albedo is higher than the surrounding area, which is typical of young craters. According to morphological characteristics, the crater belongs to the BIO type (according to the name of a typical representative of this class - the Bio crater).
